Hi Carol, Charlie. Just got the podcast. Great as usual. Ok, I need to quote Seinfeld's yada, yada, yada episode and ask? Yada, yada what? Would like to continue listening to you guys discussing the next scenes of this long soap opera.
From my side, I need to say Iran's main guy is coming to Brazil. Actually, he was invited to come by our Gvt.
I'm pretty sure he'll get all the media focus and do a job at least 10 times bigger than the one locally performed by Leiberman. Man, that was a waste of opportunity. He came, he saw, he did nothing. Well, that was all for a sunny saturday morning in Sao Paulo.
Looking forward to get the next audio file.

Werner Klemperer played Colonel Wilhelm Klink, commandant of Luft Stalag 13 in the television series Hogan's Heroes. (I thought he was Austrian, but according to IMDB.com he was born in Germany.) I'm glad I could clear that up.
What is the name and position of the British military officer Carol was referring to, and could you please post a link to what he said. Thank you.

Carol, it took me a few days to do the research. (I just got back to Brazil the day before yesterday.) Brazilians in general don't seem to have extremely strong feelings one way or another about Israel. When I asked my wife about it, she says that whenever the tensions between Israel and the Palestinians explode into the news, the Brazilian media makes a point of showing Israelis and Palestinians living together in peace in the same communities in São Paulo.
